There was a bumboat parade on the Singapore River reminding of those who came to Singapore by boat, met by other honorees who walked to meet the boat representing
those who walked down the Malay Peninsula. All joined together and followed the
Singapore Army band across the Cavenagh Bridge and a welcome reception by the
public, the Board of Governors, Students, and Raymond Lim Minister of State in charge of entrepreneurism who presented the awards to the 38 Honourees.
